How to Pack for a Trip - Traveling Light and Wrinkle-free

Packing light and packing well has gone from being a last minute concern to a major obsession for me. We all have had trips where extra bags and items--things we thought would be absolutely necessary for our journey--slowly became hated travel companions.

I came across Doug Dyment's site OneBag.com a few months ago and it completely changed the way I thought about packing. His bundling method is most helpful for people who are concerned with preventing wrinkles. Make sure to read his advice on how to choose a bag, packing lists, zippers (very important!), and security.
Doug was featured on NPR. You can listen to the piece here.

Tim Ferriss' post How to Travel the World in 10 Pounds or Less (or How to Travel the World with Two Pairs of Underwear) is also worth your time. He also includes good advice on how to negotiate a luxury treehouse on Maui (or anything for that matter).
